What Jobber is and who it is for
Jobber is field service software. It helps you book jobs, schedule your crew, send quotes, send invoices and get paid. It works best for solo owners and small crews of about 1 to 15 people. Lawn care, cleaning and general home service companies use it a lot.
Jobber has a solid reputation. On Capterra it has a 4.6 out of 5 rating from 1,487 reviews. If your main headache is running the day, such as who goes where, what got quoted and who still owes you money, Jobber is built for that job.
Jobber plans and prices
Jobber gives you three ways to pay for each plan. You can pay monthly with no commitment. You can pay monthly with a 12 month commitment for a lower price. Or you can pay for the whole year up front for the lowest price. The table shows all three prices for each plan at its starting size.
| Plan | Monthly, no commitment | Monthly, 1 year commitment | Billed yearly | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Core (1 user) | $49/mo | $39/mo | $29/mo | Booking, scheduling, quotes, invoices with online payments, a website, reporting |
| Connect (1 user) | $139/mo | $119/mo | $99/mo | Automatic reminders and follow-ups, automatic payment collection, QuickBooks Online sync, time and expense tracking |
| Grow (1 user) | $199/mo | $169/mo | $149/mo | Job costing, two-way texting, line item upsells, custom automations |
| Plus (5 users) | $499/mo | $439/mo | $399/mo | Crew scheduling, custom reports, Pipeline, Marketing Suite, AI Receptionist, dedicated onboarding, premium support |
| Extra users | $29/mo each | $29/mo each | $29/mo each | Available on all plans |
What it costs as your team grows
Connect, Grow and Plus are also sold in bigger team sizes. This matters if you have a few techs or an office helper who needs a login. Here are the monthly, no commitment prices by team size.
- Connect: $139 for 1 user, $199 for 5 users, $299 for 10 users, $399 for 15 users.
- Grow: $199 for 1 user, $299 for 5 users, $399 for 10 users, $499 for 15 users.
- Plus: $499 for 5 users, $599 for 10 users, $699 for 15 users.
The 1 year commitment and yearly prices are lower at every size. For example, Grow for 5 users is $259 a month with a 1 year commitment, or $229 a month billed yearly.
Add-ons and other costs
Jobber lists three add-ons. Marketing Suite is $99 a month. AI Receptionist is $29 a month. Pipeline is $49 a month. Jobber's pricing page also lists these inside the Plus plan, so it is not clear if Plus users pay extra for them. Ask Jobber what your plan includes before you buy.
Card processing fees are charged on top of your plan when customers pay you online. Jobber does not list a setup fee on its pricing page.
Jobber sometimes runs intro discounts for new customers. Treat any deal like that as temporary and plan your budget around the regular price.
Contracts and canceling
Read the billing option you pick carefully, because each one cancels differently.
- Monthly with no commitment: you can cancel any time, and your plan ends at the end of that billing period.
- Monthly with a 12 month commitment: you keep paying through the full term even if you cancel early.
- Billed yearly: you pay up front and that payment is not refundable.
All three options renew on their own. Put a reminder on your calendar a few weeks before your renewal date so you have time to decide.
What Jobber does well and what users complain about
Jobber is built to be simple, and it keeps quotes, jobs and invoices in one place. The free trial is easy to start too. Jobber offers 14 days of the Grow plan with no credit card.
Reviews on Capterra also point to a few common complaints. You should know about them before you commit.
- Some users report glitches, lag and timeouts during the work day.
- Some users say the reports do not go deep enough.
- Some users report sync problems with accounting, calendar and payroll tools.
- Several reviewers say the cost climbs fast once you add upgrades, add-ons, extra users and payment fees.
Is Jobber worth it for your business?
Jobber is worth a look if you spend your nights chasing paperwork. If you are writing quotes by hand, losing track of who paid, or texting your crew addresses one by one, Jobber can clean that up. Start with the free trial and add real jobs to it. You will know in a week if it fits how you work.
Here is the catch to think about. Jobber helps you run the jobs you already have. Its Core plan includes a basic website, and Plus adds marketing tools. Still, its main job is running the work, not bringing in new calls. If your schedule has gaps, better scheduling software will not fill them on its own.
Where Bricked Up Systems fits
Bricked Up Systems is a different kind of tool. We are a done-for-you growth system. We build and run your website, local SEO, Google Business Profile, missed-call text back, follow-up on open quotes, review requests and a lead CRM. It costs $297 a month with no contract and no setup fee.
We are not field service software. We do not do dispatching, crew job scheduling or tech routing the way Jobber does. Some contractors use both. Jobber runs the jobs, and Bricked Up Systems helps more of those jobs come in the door.
