Your Google review link is a short web address that opens the "write a review" box for your business directly. Customers tap it, pick their stars and type. No searching for your business, no wrong listing, no extra steps. If you want more reviews, this link is the single most useful thing you can have.
How to find your review link on a computer
- Sign in to the Google account that manages your Business Profile.
- Search Google for your exact business name. Your profile management panel shows at the top of the results.
- Click "Ask for reviews" (on some profiles it is under "Read reviews" or the "Customers" tab, then "Get more reviews").
- Copy the short link that appears. It usually starts with g.page/r/ and ends with /review.
How to find it on your phone
- Open the Google Maps app or the Google app and make sure you are signed in to the account that manages your business.
- Tap your profile picture, then "Your Business Profile" (or search your business name).
- Tap "Ask for reviews" or "Share review form".
- Copy the link, or share it straight to a text or email.
Can't find the button?
- Make sure you are signed in with the Google account that owns or manages the profile. Other accounts will not see the management tools.
- Your profile must be verified. Unverified profiles cannot share a review form.
- If your profile was recently suspended or edited, the option can disappear for a few days.
Test it before you send it
Open the link in a private browser window or on a phone that is not signed in to your business account. You should see your business name and the empty stars. If it opens the wrong business or a map, copy the link again.
The best ways to use your review link
- Text it to every customer right after the job is done. Text gets read within minutes, email often does not.
- Add it to your invoices and receipts with one line: "Happy with the work? We would love a quick review."
- Put it in your email signature.
- Print it as a QR code on a leave-behind card or the back of your business card.
- Add a "Leave us a review" button to your website.
A simple text to send with it
Hi {first name}, it's {your name} from {business}. Thanks for having us out today! If you were happy with the work, would you mind leaving us a quick review? It really helps a small business like ours. {review link}
Stay inside Google's rules
Ask every customer, not only the ones you expect to be happy, and never offer a discount or gift for a review. Google can remove reviews that break these rules, and repeated problems can affect your profile.
The businesses with hundreds of reviews are not luckier. They send this link to every customer, every time, usually automatically. That is exactly what our review system does: you mark the job done and the request goes out by text on its own.
